Two more anglers can now claim a 'victory' during the 2018-19 season as Ady Larkins and Dick Turner both banked 3lbs 15ozs to share 1st place in Sunday's last chance match. Each had a net full of skimmers with the odd roach, mainly taken on the long pole. For both anglers, those bumped fish and drop offs now seem more important than ever!
Mike Bowden continued his impressive run in the winter league with yet another podium finish, netting 3lbs 5ozs of skimmers. An honorable mention to Derek Foster who finished a creditable 5th with just under 2lbs of skimmer on a very tricky day.
Kevin Hill lost a carp and a slab, either of which would have won the competition, whilst others simply struggled to get a bite as the hard fishing continues.
