Pairs League Round 3
Tuesday 4th June
Team Carp or Bust won the first evening pairs league of the season without landing a single carp! However, Matt Peperell bagged three slabs using his favoured carp tactics carp tactics to dominate the Lower Basin section whilst partner Ryan Willshire fished wag'n mag to pinch the Second Basin section by 2ozs.
Everyone else was left scratching for silvers which were sporadic throughout the evening. The league leaders Me and My Boy ended up tying for second with the New Halwill Hustlers by picking up the odd skimmer, roach and eel.
Me and My Boy now have a commanding 4 point lead in the league , with six matches to go what can possibly go wrong now .
