Summer League R9

Summer League Round 9,  Phyllis Turner Trophy (Roach n Rudd), Sunday 12th September:

The big silver bars were nowhere to be seen and so it was a day of  slow bag accummlation as everyone chased the smaller redfins.  Adrian Hill used the long pole to piece together over 4lbs of redfins to win the match.  Brother Kevin Hill chose to use the waggler   to conmcentrate on the bits and ended up 10ozs off the pace in second.  Simon Allen stuck to his trusty pole and finished 5 ozs behind Kevin in third for an unexpected Second Basin shut out.

Brian Powel won the Lower Basin Section with just over 3lbs on the short pole, 1oz ahead of Dick Turner who won the Second Basin Section with 3lbs.
