Summer League R8 - Reg Howard Trophy

A 16lb 14ozs mixed bag gave Ian Gray victory to take the Reg Howard Trophy in the final match of the Summer League.  Ian bagged a couple of bream and some skimmers on the 6 meter pole, and on the inside line bagged up on perch using top two.  Steve Whitehouse was fishing peg 18 and alternated between long and short pole to bank a couple of bream, skimmers and roach for 13lbs 13ozs and second place.

Matt Sampson ensured the Lower Basin did not have it all their way and bagged a couple of bronzers on the tip, and silvers on the pole to win the Second Basin section and finish third with 10lb 10ozs from peg 32.  The additional point gained for the section win was enough for Matt to win the 2026 Summer League by a point from Paul Braund.

There were section wins for Tone Johns (7lb 3ozs) and Dave Allen (5lb 15ozs).
