Sunday 4th October - Paul Drissle Trophy
Simon Allen made the most of end peg 34 bagging numerous silvers and a couple of bonus slabs on both short and long pole for a 15lb 9ozs winning weight. Steve Maynard was amongst the silvers on peg 19 bringing 9lb 4ozs to the bank for second place. Steve Whitehouse rounded off the podium with 8lbs 14ozs of silvers from peg 32.
Ian Gray took a Second Basin default section with 8lb 1oz, which included three dog perch, with the Lower Basin default section going to Andy Southy on end peg 20 with just shy of 8lbs.
Len Hancock was disappointed when brining his net to the scales to find most of his catch had escaped through a tear. And if you are reading this Dick, your 5lb 5ozs did earn you a point, whilst Dave's 5lb 7ozs did not!
