Pairs League Round 2 -
Sunday 19th April
After a poor response from Whalesborough Lake last week it was decided to use the Stock Pond which despite the pressure produced some creditable bags. Simon Allen won the section with an 'end peg' 27lbs but senior partner Dave Allen failed to back it up with a creditable bag in the Middle Pound but Me and My Boy did sneak into third place overall.
Kevin Hill won the Middle Pond section from another end peg, amassing 3lbs 14ozs of roach and with Ady Larkins finishing fourth in the Stock Pond with 8lbs+ it was enough for the Lager Louts to secure victory.
The defending champions the Halwill Hustlers and the Bude Bay Pirates jointly lead the league with a three point gap opening up to the rest of the field. Early days yet though!
