Sunday 11th September
The canal was on good form with just 10oz short of 100lbs of fish being brought to the weigh in by 12 anglers. Four slab bream saw Dave Allen bank over 18lbs to take victory in the Second Basin, which combined with Simon Allens 10lb 11oz winning haul from the Lower Basin gave a win for Me and My Boy and pole position at the top of the league. The Bude Bay Pirates kept up the challenge for the title finishing in joint second with New Team Faint Heart.
The Chairman was 2lb 13ozs out underestimating his weight and put this down to not having any large catches so far this season for comparison.
