Summer League R2 - Martin Group Services Shield
It was Jack Crystals first win in the senior division and he did it in style with a 12lb 3oz bag, just edging out Simon Allen by 2ozs. Jack kept the skimmers coming on the tip from peg 14 which was just as well as he was on the bronze peg and scooped an additional £80 in prize money. At the other end of the canal Simon was alternating between pole and waggler on 34 to pick up 12lbs of silvers. Ady Larkins finished a creditable 3rd with another double figure bag of silvers off tricky peg 31.
There were section wins on the end pegs for Andy Southy (peg 13 tip, skimmers) and Len Hancock,(peg 35 waggler, skimmers).
