Stu Bell Trophy
The final Pairs League round was contested over sections in Hele Bridge Pond and Whalesborough Lake, whilst the League looked all but sewn-up by Dazed and Confused, for the other teams the legendary Stu Bell Trophy was up for grabs for the day's winner.
As expected team 'Dazed and Confused' easily secured the 2026 Pairs League Title with Steve Maynard and Rob Fuller taking third place. Steve bagged 63 brown goldfish for 7lb 13ozs to take second spot in the Pond and Rob banked 4lb 11ozs from the Lake to ensure the points were in the bag and the Pairs League won by a record points margin.

AB Angling put in a masterful performance to win out on the day with Dick Turner netting 10lb 9oz of brown goldfish, roach, rudd, and a couple of bonus eels to win the Hele Bridge section from the famous 'wall peg'. Partner Andy Southey backed up DT with a 22lbs 8ozs bag of carp from the Cafe bank of the Lake, finishing second in section which was enough to win on the day and take the coveted trophy home.

Matt Sampson took the Whalesborough Lake section with 23lbs 12ozs of carp, again from the Cafe bank. Partner Tony Hillas weighed in with 5lb 10ozs from the Pond which was enough to see the Brendon All Stars finish as the runners up.
Whilst the Pairs League is over the Pairs Knock Out is reaching the later rounds and amazingly the Tiscott Boys are in the final awaiting the winners of AB Angling v The Brendon All Stars. There could still be some glory for the Tiscott Boys yet!
