Sunday 10th July - Charity Match
Simon Allen came out on top of a peg to peg dual with Steve Whitehouse as they both banked double figure bags from pegs 33 nd 34 in the exceptionally hot conditions. Simon used the long pole to bag up on hand sized skimmers whilst Steve alternated between short pole and waggler tactics, Simon also had a £56 bonus by winning off the silver peg. Tone Hillas finished third bagging 10lbs of silvers on the long pole off end peg 19 in the Lower Basin. There were section wins for Andy Southey off peg 30 in the Second Basin and Dave Allen off peg 15 in the Lower Basin, both with 8lb + bags.
The match raised £82 which will go towards this years Association charity Stratton Hospital.
