Bude Canal Junior Cup: Saturday 8th August
After a few years absence we will be reinstating the Bude Canal Junior Members Cup competition on Saturday 8th August from 9:00am to 1pm. The event will have a maximum of 16 places and take place in the Lower Basin and Upper Basins of the Bude Canal (Pegs 13 to 20 and 27 to 34).
The event is for Bude Canal Angling Association Junior Members Only, and will be free to enter thanks to the donations received from Bude Canal Angling Association members to support Junior Development.
Please note this is not a tuition event and entrants will need to provide their own bait and tackle, however, keepnets, landing nets and 3m whips will be available if required. BCAA Event Support Volunteers will be overseeing the event and experienced anglers will be on hand throughout to help with set ups, advise and basic skills if required.
Juniors aged 8 or under will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the event.
There will be an annual trophy and replica for the winner and replica for the runner up, additional prizes will be a selection of tackle items and Bude Bait & Tackle vouchers, with each participant receiving a prize.
